It is also registered as the largest United States corporation in terms of total revenue from 2007 to 2016 fiscal years. Intel operates in various countries of the world, including India. The company provides solutions to the top companies like Dell, Lenovo, HP Inc., etc. Intel is a driver of innovation, expansion, and global reach.

Lenovo worked with Hands On CSR worked towards an objective of:

• To paint the school and introduce vivacity in Gunjurpalya Govt higher primary school, Bengaluru
• To make the students aware of Mural painting.
• Restoring the look of the school and making it brighter and more vibrant for the kids.
• To transform the look of the school and classroom walls and make them look attractive.
• To provide the best and the most pleasant learning environment to the children of the school.
• This may help keep the children in the school studying.
• It may also motivate other children to join the school and receive an education.

Intel volunteering team aimed to:

• Interact with the people from Vishranthi Aashram, Hoskote through the virtual model.
• Involve the company associates in a one-hour online event with the children from this ashram

Hands On CSR’s solutions

Hands On CSR supported the company by helping them with the best solutions. The details of the project are mentioned here:

1. LENOVO Volunteering in the school painting activity was done with the efforts of the team of Lenovo. This project was done on February 2nd, 2020. The location of the project was Gunjurpalya Govt higher primary school, Bengaluru. Intending to pep up the place, the company volunteers painted the school walls. The details of the project are mentioned here:

• More than 25 volunteers from Lenovo jointly worked on the project.
• The 25 employees of the company belonged to the locations of Bengaluru and Mumbai.
• A mural painting activity was done in the Government Higher Primary School at Gurugunja Palya, Bangalore.

2. Intel Volunteering team carried out a project to interact with the children from Vishranthi Aashram. This project was done in May 2020. The project was done online. Here are the details of the project:

• The volunteers created 1-hour online event.
• The company associates talked to the children from Vishranthi Aashram.
• The children were explained the benefits of physical fitness.

Results Achieved

The project aimed to make the dull classroom walls of the school interesting. The results achieved fulfilled the goals of the company. The accomplishments include:

• The children enjoyed the mural painting activity and participated with zeal to help the volunteers.
• The company associates interacted with the kids in the school and had fun with them.
• Mural painting made the school and classroom a more delightful space.
• Due to the attractive painting, the look of the school and classroom improved significantly, and the children spent more time in the school studying.
• Minor forest produce was efficiently packaged and semi-processed.
• Plantation activities helped in making the environment green.
• The volunteers also got to experience something different – in both education as well as agriculture.
• In the online activity, Intel Volunteering motivated the children and talked about improving their physical fitness by exercising.
