Hands On CSR after wading through the CSR objectives of Dell India collaborated and executed a sustainably effective initiative that included the following attributes: A plantation drive on 11th September 2019 in partnership with the BBMP (Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike) was carried out. Dell associates were inspired to volunteer for the program. 100 volunteers efficiently carried out the task of planting 100 tall saplings at the Mallasandra Gudde Park, Jalahalli West, Bengaluru. To create a greater impact of the plantation drive on the volunteers, interesting strategies were involved. For instance,
The solutions were accepted and performed with sheer efficiency and therefore, we could draw positive results from them. Hitting the goal, 100 tall saplings were successfully planted at the Mallasandra Gudde Park, Jalahalli West. The barren land has been vividly refreshed and strengthened by planting indigenous tree saplings to spring into a greener future. Surely the plants when grown-up shall produce enough oxygen to purify the air around, save soil from eroding, and contribute to lessening global warming in the long run. The Dell associates cum volunteers could generously contribute to nature’s wellbeing and gain the hands-on experience of productive and imperative social work. The program brought the volunteers closer to nature and inspired them to try new perspectives and patterns of working, and of course, it helped hone their leadership skills.
