Project Objective:

To contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment by organizing a lake cleanup drive at Hunsamaranahalli Lake.

Activities:

• Volunteer Engagement: CSG assembled a dedicated team of 40 volunteers who actively participated in the lake cleanup.
• Waste Removal: On May 27th, 2023, volunteers successfully removed a staggering 500 kilograms of plastic waste from the lake, making a significant impact on the local environment.

Impact:

CSG's lake cleanup initiative yielded several positive outcomes:

• Reduced Plastic Pollution: The removal of 500 kilograms of plastic waste significantly mitigated plastic pollution in Hunsamaranahalli Lake.
• Improved Water Quality: Reducing plastic pollution helps to improve water quality, benefiting aquatic life and the overall health of the lake.
• Protected Aquatic Life: Plastic pollution poses a serious threat to aquatic ecosystems. By removing plastic waste, the volunteers helped to protect the lake's wildlife.
